Ceramic artist and painter in the
San Francisco Bay Area.

I am not a production potter; I treat each piece as one of a kind. I experiment a lot, hoping to maintain a freshness of process. Many of my ceramic pieces reflect my interest in Ikebana flower arranging vessels and Japanese Tea Bowls. I also enjoy making ceramic wall pieces and purely sculptural forms.
My Raku pottery results from his use of ancient techniques first used in Japan in 1580.
